4-year-old Aishdeep Kaur, from Dabba Pind, is battling for her life at Deep Hospital after a tragic road accident. She was riding with her father on a two-wheeler when a dog suddenly came in front of them. In an attempt to avoid hitting the dog, they lost balance and fell.
Aishdeep’s father suffered several injuries, while Aishdeep received a serious head injury and has been on a ventilator since the accident. She has not regained consciousness yet.
So far, the hospital expenses have reached Rs.2 lakh, out of which her parents have somehow managed to pay Rs.1 lakh by borrowing from others. The remaining Rs.1 lakh is still unpaid, and the hospital has warned that treatment may be stopped if the pending amount isn’t cleared. The family is also unsure how long she will need to stay in the hospital, which will add to the cost further.
Aishdeep’s father works as an auto driver, earning around Rs.300 per day. He is the only earning member of the family and also supports his aged parents. With such limited income, managing household expenses and arranging funds for his daughter’s treatment has become impossible.
